江畔独步寻花 Jueju (Enjoying Flowers Walking Alone on a Riverbank, No. 5 of 7)

杜甫 Du Fu

Before Abbot Huang's pagoda, east of the river water,
chūn guāng lǎn kùn yǐ wēi fēng
Spring is bright and delicate in the gentle breeze.
táo huā yī cù kāi wú zhǔ
One clump of peach blossom's opened, no-one to own it,
kě ài shēn hóng ài qiǎn hóng
Is dark or light red more to be loved?
